Fall in Boston

The semester is going insanely fast this time. It's like life is running as fast as it can while I am trying to keep up, screaming "Wait for me!" But as always Berklee is a place where the music never stops, regardless of how it sounds.

I recorded background vocals for my friends first EP last weekend, and I realized how you sometimes need to deal with unprofessional people. The producer was two hours late, and had for some reason forgotten to tell us that, and instead of getting started (since both sound engineer and musicians were there) we had to wait for his decision of microphone and pre amps.
I was boiling inside, and what disturbed me most wasn't necessarily that he was late, but that he didn't tell us. Once he showed up I realized that there was no point in keeping a bad attitude, and things went pretty smooth after that. Hopefully the real world is a bit better at communicating that the Berklee bubble.

Other news... Conducting is what's happening right now! Two classes with parts from Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, Brahms and West Side Story, and I absolutely love it.

That's all for now. C ya!
