Loke & Linnéa
A classical bass player and a jazz singer.

In a dynamic interplay and reflecting lyrics it's hard to believe that the duo Loke & Linnéa only consists of two people. Their music is intimate and close, powerful and captivating. With influences of Joni Mitchell, Jan Johansson and the american jazz tradition their intent is to move you with a unique and genuine sound.

Karmacloud is the brainchild of Rumle Langdal, Linnea Lundgren, and Danny Forde, three charismatic songwriters from Denmark, Sweden and Ireland. With shared musical passions and complementary interests, they have crafted a wealth of original songs around the theme of the common human experience. The music is alive, acoustic, and honest, with delicate three part harmony singing, gripping dynamics and imaginative lyrics.

Rumle, Linnéa and Danny met in Autumn 2012 at the musical melting pot, Berklee College of Music in Boston. Starting out with small recording sessions, they quickly found their uniquely blended sound and took it to the stages at Berklee and beyond to venues throughout Boston. Following the success of their arresting live performances, an EP was created and to promote it they went on a tour in Europe including Sweden, Denmark, England, the Netherlands and Belgium.

Plask! is a group that started out as a school project at Birka Folkhögskola, to make a show to make jazz more available for children. With funny performances, talking clarinets, and party feeling Plask! has inspired children to find music different from what they hear on the radio. Every year there is a new setting, a new plot and some new members to inspire the kids with music from artists such as Thelonius Monk, Charles Mingus, Miles Davis, and many more.

Here you can read two articles (in Swedish) about the project:
